Classification And Composition Of Industrial Moulds

Industrial moulds, various kinds of moulds and tools used in industrial production to obtain the required products by injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, die-casting or forging, smelting, stamping and other methods. In short, industrial mould is a tool used to make a shaped object, which is composed of various parts, and different moulds are composed of different parts. It is mainly through the change of the physical state of the formed material to realize the processing of the shape of the article. It’s known as the "Mother of Industry".

According to the different moulding materials, industrial moulds can be divided into: hardware moulds, plastic moulds, and special moulds.

Hardware moulds are divided into: stamping moulds(such as punching moulds, bending moulds, drawing moulds, turning moulds, shrinkage moulds, reentrant moulds, bulging moulds, shaping moulds, etc.), forging moulds (such as mould forging, header moulds, etc.), extrusion moulds, die-casting moulds, etc.

Non-metal moulds are divided into plastic moulds and inorganic non-metal moulds. According to the different materials of the mould itself, the moulds can be divided into: sand moulds, metal moulds, vacuum moulds, paraffin moulds and so on. Among them, with the rapid development of polymer plastics, plastic moulds are closely related to people's life. Plastic moulds can be generally divided into: injection moulding moulds, extrusion moulding moulds, gas-assisted moulding moulds and so on.

In addition to itself, industrial moulds also requires mould bases, mould bases, mould cores, and the lift out attachment that causes the parts to be ejected, etc. These parts are generally made into universal type. Mould enterprises need to be bigger and better. Product positioning and market positioning should be determined, according to market demand, technology, capital, equipment and other conditions. For small mould enterprises, these practices are especially worthy of learning, and they should focus on forming their own technological and product advantages. Therefore, China's mould enterprises must actively strive to learn from the experience of foreign advanced enterprises to better their future development.
