After long-term use of plastic injection tooling products, the cutting edge must be sharpened. After grinding, the cutting-edge surface must be demagnetized and must not be magnetized, otherwise it is easy to cause blockage. The mold user company shall make detailed records, and make statistics on its use, care (lubrication, cleaning, rust prevention) and damage. Based on this, it can be found which parts and components have been damaged, and the degree of wear and tear, to provide information on finding and solving problems. At the same time, it can also know the molding process parameters of the injection mold and the materials used in the product to shorten the trial run time of the mold and improve the production efficiency. The various properties of the mold should be tested under the normal operation of the injection molding machine and mold, and the size of the final molded plastic part should be measured. Through this information, the current state of the mold can be determined, and the damage to the cavity, core, cooling system, and parting surface can be found. According to the information provided by the plastic parts, the damage status of the mold and the repair measures can be judged.
The spring and other elastic parts of plastic injection tooling are most likely to be damaged in the process of use, which usually appear fracture and deformation. The method adopted is to replace. In the process of replacement, you must pay attention to the specification and model of the spring. The specification and model of the spring are confirmed by the color, outer diameter and length of the three items. Only when the three items are the same can they be replaced.
Fasten parts. Check whether the fastening parts are loose or damaged. The method adopted is to find the parts of the same specification for replacement.
Pressing parts, such as pressing plate, uniglue and so on. Discharge parts such as stripper, pneumatic ejector and so on. During maintenance, check the relationship between parts of each part and whether there is damage, and repair the damaged part. Check whether the pneumatic jacking material leaks, and take measures for the specific situation. If the trachea is damaged, it needs to be replaced.
Focus on tracking and testing several important parts of the plastic injection tooling: the ejector and guide components are used to ensure the opening and closing movement of the mold and ejection of the plastic parts. If any part of it gets stuck due to damage, it will stop production. Therefore, the mold thimble and guide post should be kept lubricated (the most suitable lubricant should be selected), and the thimble and guide post should be regularly checked for deformation and surface damage. Once found, it should be replaced in time; After completing a production cycle, apply professional anti-rust oil to the mold working surface, moving and guiding parts. Particular attention should be paid to the protection of the elastic strength of the bearing parts of the gear, rack mold and the spring mold to ensure that they are always in the best working condition.
